Urethane Springs Diagram of Urethane Springs

SPEC® Urethane Compression Springs are compounded to provide optimum spring characteristics. When loading urethane springs, the outer wall bulges. The growth in the outer diameter is approximately equal in percentage to the deflection as a percentage of free length. Also note that the ID (inner diameter) listed for parts is an interference fit. Operating temperatures are -17.8 Degrees C through 93.3 Degrees C (-60 Degrees F through 200 Degrees F). Parts may be stacked and or bonded to mating materials.
