Quality and Testing

Quality is the top priority at ASRaymond, with a quality policy and supporting systems structured to reinforce that priority. Third-party certifications are kept up to date with regular audits by relevant certifying authorities and customer quality teams. Facilities are ISO/TS 16949, ISO9001, AS9100 compliant, depending on the market served. ASRaymond focuses on continuous improvement in quality through process and product, utilizing industry tools such as DFMEA (design failure mode effects analysis) and PFMEA (process failure mode effects analysis).

Gas Spring Quality Testing

ASRaymond offers the following testing services to production or prototype parts, up to 100% inspection, as part of PPAP or First Article if required:

Dimensional
Load at Specified Heights or Lengths
Spring Rate
Maximum Travel or Maximum Displacement
Dampening (Cycle Time Under Specified Load)

Additionally, the following are provided for analysis and validation testing when required:

Fatigue Testing / Cycle Testing
Salt Spray Testing / Corrosion Resistance
Creep / Set
Hot / Cold / Environmental
Failure Analysis
Material Analysis
