LX-2100-120
SPD™ Fixed Locking Reducible Force Gas Springs combines the benefit of a Prop-Lock® and the adjustable force of a Reducible Force Gas Spring to provide both lift assistance and security against unexpected lid closure. Designed to hold at full extension, the shroud secures the strut in a fixed position and can be easily disengaged with an intentionally applied force.
Additionally, each spring is fitted with a bleeder valve and comes fully pressurized. Once installed in the application the pressure can be reduced gradually until functioning at the desired force. For scale applications this represents an opportunity to determine the correct pressure for production. Simply return the properly functioning spring to ASRaymond for profiling. This all-in-one product is interchangeable with most standard Gas Springs and can be utilized in many industries that want to add a layer of protection from damage. Tested to more than 500 hours of salt spray per the ASTM B117 standard, the 316L stainless-steel Gas Springs provide corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.
