SPD™ Fixed Locking Gas Struts from ASRaymond combines the benefit of a Prop-Lock® and the counterbalance force of a Gas Strut to provide both lift assistance and security against unexpected lid closure. Designed to hold at full extension, the shroud secures the strut in a fixed position and can be easily disengaged with an intentionally applied force.
This all-in-one product is interchangeable with most standard Gas Struts and can be utilized in many industries that want to add a layer of protection from damage. Tested to more than 500 hours of salt spray per the ASTM B117 standard, the 316L stainless-steel Gas Struts provide corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.
