The Pre-Engineered line of Mechanical Struts is designed to help engineers quickly identify which solution to use for their application — especially those that operate in challenging environments. With more than 90,000 struts to choose from, available as made to order, they are fully dimensioned with predetermined forces to help accelerate the prototyping process.
Exclusively from ASRaymond, these struts are a seal-less, oil-less, gas-less solution that is not environmentally dependent compared to other counterbalance springs. Without seals and gases, Mechanical Struts can operate between -40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 204°C); they do not have an expiration date. They also provide consistent and repeatable performance regardless of use frequency without degradation to output. Available in mill finished, nitride, and polished stainless-steel materials.
