Industrial Gas Springs™ Extended Life Micro Gas Springs are a small and compact Gas Spring option with a 4-millimeter rod and 12-millimeter tube diameter. They operate at about 125,000 cycles, have roughly 10 times the expected cycle life compared to standard Gas Struts, have a force output between 2 and 34 pounds, feature stroke lengths between 1.18-inch and 3.5-inch.
Micro Gas Springs are a high-quality and long-lasting product that is available with a black epoxied carbon steel body with a chrome-plated carbon steel rod; they provide an extended life solution that features FDA-compliant damping oil. They are ideal for applications that operate in temperature extremes and corrosive environments, per ASTM B117.
The proprietary Extended Life Micro product line is precision-engineered to offer manufacturers high-quality, durable, long-lasting solutions for their challenging applications in a miniature size. It includes an affixed Metal Eye Blade on the body and has a threaded end on the rod – regardless of the end-fitting selected. The product line is manufactured in AS9100D and ISO 9001 certified facilities.
