Motors, gearboxes or speed-reducers, and connectors are all examples of typical devices that use Wave Spring Washers in this way. They are available in both carbon and stainless steel and are supplied with a plain finish. A common application for Overlap Wave Spring Washers is placement adjacent to smaller bearings, where shaft take-up or thermal expansion and contraction accommodation is required. They are available in stainless steel and carbon steel.
